You're invited to join your community at the Walk to Cure Diabetes. It's Australia's biggest event for those who share the hope for a better life for people with type 1 diabetes.

West Domain, Parramatta Park
The 3km Walk will follow the path around Parramatta Park finishing in the Walk Village. The Walk is pram and wheelchair friendly and dogs on leashes are permitted.
Join us after the Walk for lunch, jumping castle, petting zoo, face painting and loads of kids rides and activities. There will also be a raffle, arts and crafts corner and live entertainment. You can also share your thoughts on our Wall of Hope and meet some Diabetes Organisations.
We recommend taking public transport. The venue is a 5 miute Walk from Westmead train station, or a 15 minute Walk from Parramatta train station. For further information on the public transport available please visit www.ppt.nsw.gov.au/hours-and-info/getting-there. Parking stations are also available within the UWS Westmead Campus Car Park (Hawkesbury Road, Parramatta, behind the Wesrmead Hospital) for a $5 flat rate in the Pay and Display section for up to 150 cars. Westfield Parramatta Car Park (entry from Aird Street, Marsden Street and Campbell Street, Parramatta) offer three hours of free parking for 4,100 cars. This is a 10 minute walk from the venue.
