About the walk

JDRF thanks our Walk hosts Chelsea and Lilly Andrews for hosting the Riverland One Walk again in 2019. Coming off the back of a successful 2018 One Walk in Berri, this year we are in a new location.

The Riverland One Walk will begin and end at the Barmera Football Oval, Dean Road. Chelsea and Lilly have chosen this venue as Barmera will be a hive of activity with the Murray man Triathlon and the Barmera Main St Markets the same day so why not make a day of it! There will plenty to see and do!

Prior to the Riverland One Walk this year there will be a hot breakfast including bacon and egg rolls and sausage sizzle from the Barmera football club canteen. The One Walk site will be open from 8am so come and grab your breakfast early and support JDRF, meet and engage with other families, have your faces painted, jump on the jumpy castle and play some old school games. There will be some amazing prizes in the raffle and a silent auction as well.

At 10.30am we will walk around the football oval with each lap gaining you a stamp.  There will be a prize for the child and adult who has walked the greatest number of laps. Dogs on leads are welcome. The walk route is pram and wheelchair friendly. There is ample parking on site and amenities available.

At the end of the One Walk the BBQ will still be fired up so grab a snag before you head off to the markets. All funds raised by the BBQ supports JDRF.

Pre - register here, and get in early on the day for your raffle tickets to win some great prizes and to place a bid on the awesome silent auctions prizes, purchase walk day T-Shirts and other merchandise and have your photo taken with Jasper the Giant Jelly Baby for a gold coin.

Thank you for your support of the Riverland One Walk event.
