Owen's Diabetes walk for a cure. Owen Has had a great year! He has transitioned well onto the insulin pump, this gives him heaps of flexibility with keeping his levels better adjusted. gives him a little more flexibility with meals and eating times. Being removable for sports is a bonus! Settling well into his first year of High School and doing two weeks in America, who knows the first Diabetic in space? Beautiful boy pictured behind a Saturn rocket at cape Canaveral NASA. I am taking part in JDRF One Walk to turn type one into type none! Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can strike at any time. It affects more than 120,000 Australian families, and 7 people are diagnosed every day. So I am walking with the #JDRFbluearmy to raise funds for research to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes. Please DONATE NOW and support my walk to change the lives of Australians living with T1D. Thank you.
