Talking the talk, and walking the walk ...
I am taking part in JDRF One Walk to turn type one into type none!
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can strike at any time. It affects more than 120,000 Australian families, and 7 people are diagnosed every day.
We are almost a year into Nate's diagnosis. It is a continuous and relentless learning curve and while we are so lucky in so so many ways, for me it still breaks my heart that this has happened to my beautiful Nato-Potato, and that there was nothing we could have done to prevent it - it is just the luck of the draw. So that's why I am walking with the #JDRFbluearmy to raise funds for research to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes.
Please DONATE NOW and support my walk to change the lives of Australians living with T1D.
Of course I would also love you to join our team and walk with us at Davistown on Sunday 22nd September. If you would like to, please just join the team on the link below and drop a little donation towards our fundraising page!
Thank you for your support!
