How to log your KMs

There are two ways to track your KMs:

Option 1: Connect your fundraising page via a fitness app (i.e. Strava, Garmin, Fitbit or MapMyFitness)

Option 2: Log your KMs manually

Please note: all KMs logged before October 1st will be removed once the event officially begins. However, if you’d like to save your KMs before this date, you will receive an email with instructions on how to roll your KMs into October.

I want to log my KMs...

Log your KMs MANUALLY

This is a great option if you're using a pedometer or a different method of tracking your distances. 

 

Follow these steps: 

1. Login to your fundraising page

2. Go to 'My Dashboard' and then 'My Fitness Activity'

3. Scroll down to 'Add Activity'

4. Enter the 'Date' and 'KMs'

5. Hit 'Save Changes'

 

Your KMs will be added to your fundraising page to track your progress throughout the month. 

Log your KMs using FITBIT

If you track your workouts with Fitbit, your distances will automatically add to your tally. 

Follow these steps: 

1. Download the Fibit app and set up account  

2. Login to your fundraising page

3. Go to 'My Dashboard' and then 'My Fitness Activity'

4. Go to 'Connect your preferred Fitness App'

5. Click your chosen app

6. Follow the prompts to connect your account

When using Fitbit, you must 'start' an activity and 'SAVE' it or your daily KMs will not automatically add to your page. If you are having issues, try syncing through BOTH your Fitbit and the Fitbit app on your smartphone. 

  • Select 'start your workout' in the app (on your phone). Once you end your workout, save your workout. Your activity will be published and displayed on your fundraising page the following day.

If you have synced your app already but it is not working, please log in and re-connect it. 

Your tally will be updated each day (with the previous day's distances). 

Log yours KMs using MAP MY FITNESS

If you track your workouts with MapMyFitness, your distances will automatically add to your tally. 

Follow these steps: 

1. Download the MapMyFitness app and set up account  

2. Login to your fundraising page

3. Go to 'My Dashboard' and then 'My Fitness Activity'

4. Go to 'Connect your preferred Fitness App'

5. Click your chosen app

6. Follow the prompts to connect your account

When using MapMyFitness, you must 'start' your workout, 'stop' your workout and then 'SAVE' your workout. 

  • Select 'start your workout' in the app (on your phone). Once you end your workout, save your workout. Your activity will be published and displayed on your fundraising page the following day.

If you have synced your app already but it is not working, please log in and re-connect it. 

Your tally will be updated each day (with the previous day's distances).

Then, once you've connected your app, you can start your next workout.
