Be part of something extraordinary
At JDRF, we know that volunteers are crucial to our mission of improving lives and finding cures for type 1 diabetes (T1D)! That's why we're inviting expressions of interest from volunteers all over the country in the lead up to One Walk in March 2025.
By volunteering, you’ll help raise vital funds for life-changing research and support the T1D community in celebrating their fundraising achievements. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of those living with T1D.
How you can get involved
1. Event day volunteering
Join us at a One Walk event near you and volunteer on the day of the event (or the day prior for some setup). Experience the joy and unity of the T1D community firsthand by taking on one of the following roles:
- Marshal
- Water Station Volunteer
- Merchandise and Information Volunteer
- Kids Activity Volunteer
- Best-Dressed T-Shirt Judge
- And more!
2. Office support
Ready to get started?
Express your interest in volunteering at a One Walk in your area and become a part of this incredible journey. Together, we can create a world without type 1 diabetes.

“I am extremely proud to join the One Walk Step Challenge, not only for my son, but for everyone with T1D who must test their blood glucose levels and take insulin every single day just to stay alive.”
