I'm walking for a world without type one diabetes

I’m walking to help raise awareness about T1D

Hey all you lovely people

22 years of living with Type 1 Diabetes hasn’t been easy, but having incredible friends and family by my side through everything definitely helps make the darker days easier.

This year I’m participating in the JDRF “One Walk”, with JDRF being one of the largest funder of Type 1 Diabetes research in the world with a vision to create a world without T1D.

Below are some average figure's of what I have dealt with since I was diagnosed at the age of just 5:

I have lived with T1D for 8,003 days

I have done 64,024 finger pricks

I have done 56,021 insulin injections

I have spent 11,433 hours recovering from hypo’s (the WORST)

If you can spare any change at all - it makes all the difference in helping to fund further research and development for people like myself.

One step closer to finding a cure, and hopefully one day being able to prevent people from getting this life threatening disease.

Thank-you from the bottom of my heart for any and all support, as all I can have is hope for a cure someday! xxx
