We’re walking for Louie!
Ever since Lou was diagnosed we’ve always tried to raise some kind of funding to help raise money for JDRF - a foundation who focuses on support for Diabetics and their families as well as, and most importantly, finding a cure. Everybody knows a diabetic, and they seem fine but in actual fact - they live with so much more than what anyone could ever imagine. Louie was diagnosed at 1, he’s the bravest kid I know and I really hope we find a cure soon. And until we do, we’ll be here! Raising much needed funds!I'm walking in Toowoomba to turn type one into type none!
I’m joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Queens Park on Sunday 16 March!
Why? To help fund life-changing research to help Louie, and people like Louie, live their best life!
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please help me raise some funds! I dream of a day where it will be Lou’s last needle and he can freely eat and survive without worry!
