Our Story
We are taking part in JDRF One Walk to turn type one into type none!
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that affects more than 120,000 Australian families. It requires checking of blood sugar levels 6-8 times each day, and 4-6 manual injections of insulin daily via needles or insulin pump therapy.
One of our kids was diagnosed with T1D over 8 years ago and has been battling this disease every day since.
So we are walking to raise funds for research to cure, prevent, and better treat type 1 diabetes. The walk is on Sunday 15th September.
If you can, please DONATE NOW. Thanks from all of us!
