I'm walking in Hobart to turn type one into type none!
This cause is incredibly close to my heart.
I have seen firsthand what life with type 1 diabetes is like and I have seen just how much this autoimmune condition can take from a person and their families.
Two of my grandparents have had T1D so I’m not stranger to the condition.
• the copious amounts of finger pricking and blood sugar tests
• the endless trips to the hospital and late nights
• the daily challenges, the uncertainty, and the long-term effects and watching it take their lives.
No one should have to go through it.
I also now have clients who are affected by the condition. So I’m walking not only for my grandparents but everyone who is living with this condition.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Which is so scary! And it’s why fundraising and bringing awareness is so vital.
Raising money and donating helps to advocate for better support, bring more awareness to the reality of this condition and help to hopefully one day find a cure.
Id love for you to be part of this fundraiser!
You can donate through the link provided any donation is better than none and
better yet, come and walk with me at Simmons Park on the 15th of March!
Let’s take steps together, show our support, and make a real difference. Hope to see you there! xx
