Fun fact - In high school, when it was lunch time and I was due for my insulin, I had to go up To the front office and get my insulin pen and inject in the sick bay room. Now I look back at this… it’s kind of ridiculous that my life saving medication had to be kept in the office, to keep other kids safe ?

But my possy of friends always joined me! So it was always a bit of fun! Thanks for joining me in sickbay everyday Claire McCann, Emily Starr!!

I'm walking in Canberra to turn type one into type none! This has been on my bucket list for a long time!!

I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Weston Park on Sunday 2 March 2025!

Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
