I'm walking in March 2025 to turn type one into type none!
As part of this year’s JDRF OneWalk, I personally will endeavour to take 8,000 steps a day during March for the eight Australians diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every day. However, the rest of the Adams family (Roger, Alex, Nick and Samson) will be training hard in preparation for the arduous Kokoda Trek they will be doing in April this year. So many thousands of steps will be taken over the next two months!!
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing type 1 diabetes.
