Stepping up for my T1D son!
Our son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes June 2024 at the age of 8. Our son spent 8 days in hospital learning and adjusting to his new life. Our son Chase is amazing, he has stepped up and tackled T1D head on. He doesn't let anything get him down! He is Baseball mad, and has said he will be the greatest baseball player to ever live and he won't let this new diagnosis get in his way. My wife and I are so proud of him and that's why we are raising funds for T1D so we can help more and more kids and family with T1D. Let's GO!I'm walking in Newcastle to turn type one into type none!
I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Thomas Holton Park Playground in Croudace Bay Park on Sunday 9 March 2025!
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please support my walk today.
