Let’s kick Type 1 Diabetes in the butt!

As most of you know this is a very worthwhile cause close to our hearts. 
My 17 year old son Harrison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes nearly 6 years ago. 
It has been a very challenging journey with lots of ups and downs. 
But through it all Harrison has amazed me with his incredible courage, strength and bravery! 
He is a champion!! 
No one should have to be living with Type I Diabetes. 
Harrison just wants to be a 17 year old young man without having to worry about Diabetes. 
It’s a 24/7 job which has definitely been made easier with the pump, but imagine a world without Type 1 Diabetes! 
That’s what we wish for. 
It’s not Harrison’s fault his pancreas stopped producing insulin! 
Please help us to raise money to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

I'm walking in Canberra to turn type one into type none!

I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Weston Park on Sunday 2 March 2025!

Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D. 

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
