This is Navy! He is 3 years old and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in May this year. Navy is our beautiful, precious boy and whilst it breaks our heart to see our son having to live life with this disease, we are filled with pride watching him tackling diabetes with such resilience and taking such ownership. We are also thankful to be part of the well supported diabetes community and feel hopeful that there will be a cure for Type 1 in Navy’s lifetime. Research is the key to destroying Type 1 and we would be so thankful for any support our friends and family can provide us in raising funds so that one day Navy can go back to living a life free of diabetes.
We are taking part in JDRF One Walk to turn type one into type none!
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that can strike at any time. It affects more than 120,000 Australian families, and 7 people are diagnosed every day.
So our team is walking with the #JDRFbluearmy to raise funds for research to cure, prevent and better treat type 1 diabetes.
Please DONATE NOW and support our walk to change the lives of Australians living with T1D.
