I'm walking for a world without type one diabetes

I'm walking in Adelaide to turn type one into type none!

I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Wigley Reserve on Sunday 30 March 2025!

Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.

For those who don’t know, I was diagnosed when I was 17 months old and was 24 hours away from a coma that I wouldn’t have come out of. I have never known anything else but finger pricks, needles, testing hypos and endless appointments. Raising awareness so no other kid and family has to go through what my family and I have gone through

Please support my walk today.
