I'm walking on the Sunshine Coast in March to turn type one into type none!
This year I'm returning for a second year to join the JDRF One Walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Coopers Lookout Park/Kawana Surf Club on Sunday, 30 March 2025! I'm walking in support of our 8-year-old warrior, Sienna.
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
