We're walking in Geraldton for Lilli lets turn type one into type none!
We’re participating in the world’s largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Stow Gardens Geraldton on Sunday, March 30, 2025!
Why are we walking? Our 7 year old diabetic warrior lilli was diagnosed in May 2024. It’s been a challenging journey, but she has recently been approved for the JDRF pump program, So we can’t think of a better way to thank and support there research.
Type 1 diabetes can affect anyone at any time, and in Australia, eight people are diagnosed every day. Living with T1D means facing a 24/7 battle, requiring over 180 decisions daily to stay safe and healthy.
