I'm walking in Melbourne to turn type one into type none!
My baby cousin Savannah Paget was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just after her second birthday this year in February. I’m writing this because I want to raise awareness. Having type 1 diabetes is a life long and incurable she will be on insulin for the rest of her life. She is a little fighter and we are all so proud with how well she is handling it all. Savannah has the most amazing support around her, her parents Bianca and Jessy are truly incredible with how they have love a dedication they have to not just Savannah but also her siblings. I’m so proud of you guys ?
You don’t have to donate but if you could share to help spread awareness it would mean a lot to our family. Hopefully there will be a cure in the coming future !
I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Princes Park on Sunday 2 March 2025!
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please support my walk today.
