Update
Our walks are shorten as I'm a fulltime working Mum we realised how hard it is to fit in a walk so I've been up before work and after work since the last 2 weeks of Feb. My T1D warrior is 13 total Intravert personality. Oh but his 10 year old Brother has come on many walks Ace is a great advocate for Aspen. He calls me at my place of work to tell me his sensor has expired or he's low etc ( although I know all this) he feels the need to inform me and I love that he's looking out for his TID bro it's made me so super proud of them both. The late nights the school rush and also having TID in our family is much easier when we are all educated and aware. It's 730am Sunday and I'm ready to do a quick walk before I cook their breakfast ? let's go!!I'm walking in March 2025 to turn type one into type none!
I'm taking 8,000 steps a day during March for the eight Australians diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every day as part of JDRF's One Walk.
Why? To help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing type 1 diabetes.
Please support my walk today.
