I'm walking for Cazna Tasker

I'm walking in the Gold Coast to turn type one into type none!

In February I will be walking 8000 steps a day as part of JDFR One Walk to raise money and awareness about Type 1 Diabetes. I'm joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Pratten Park, Broadbeach on Sunday 23 March 2025!

It has nearly been 2 years since my mums sudden diagnosis and I don’t wish that upon anyway. It has definitely caused a lot of ups and down but one thing I learnt is the type one community is strong and together we can find a cure.

I am joining JDRF to help fund life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.

If you are able to please support my walk, anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou, Kaitlyn.
